Description

If you love Italian cuisine and its wonderful products, we offer you an exclusive trip to Cilento, in the current province of Salerno, once a pleasant countryside of the historic Kingdom of Naples, to discover some culinary products considered among the best in the world and some unsurpassed food and wine recipes.

For the occasion, we wanted to take a leap into the history of Italy and recover the traditions of the ancient barons of Salerno, the great gourmets of the past, who owned wonderful homes with flourishing agricultural estates here and who had their chefs prepare delicious dishes, which have now become very famous delicacies. To this end, we will make you stay in a huge castle built at the end of the 9th century, home to the noble Barony of Cilento and now a luxury resort. Then, just like the noble barons of the past, we will stroll among the wonderful agricultural companies of the area, discovering the most famous local products, which, even today, allow the creation of great delicacies.

We will learn about the culture of fresh pasta from Salerno, we will delve into the history and tradition of Fusilli in their hometown, and then taste them in renowned local restaurants. We will also meet the best mozzarella in the world, so as to learn about their history, traditional production and taste them in real gourmet dishes. There will be no shortage of fruit, such as the very famous white figs, but also sweets or Mediterranean chocolate, which are often linked to the products of the earth to create very tasty partnerships.

But not only tastings or lunches! We will take you to visit beautiful ancient cities, where the barons spread and renewed the culture of local cuisine, but also small villages perched on the hills, where, instead, the recipes of the past have been preserved as they were handed down. We will conclude our tour at sea, to learn about the great Italian fishing tradition and admire the beauty of Cilento from a truly privileged observation point.
